Tim Roy, ASA, CEA - Senior M&E Appraiser

Tim Roy provides our clients with M&E appraisals and also works with clients to design complex and nontraditional valuation assignments. Tim began his career in liquidation, and uses that first-hand experience to advise clients of the real-world value factors affecting the marketability of their assets.

Tim holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA-MTS) designation with the American Society of Appraisers and the Certified Equipment Appraiser (CEA) designation with the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA).

Tim earned his formal education with a BA from Indiana University. He is an officer on ASA’s MTS Committee; on the editorial staff of the MTS Journal; and is continually involved in leadership roles with community and nonprofit organizations.

Christopher C. Hirschfeld, ASA, MBA - Managing Director, Valuation Services

Chris Hirschfeld is Managing Director of Valuation Services for Capitale Analytics’ Business Valuation and Litigation Support Team. He is involved in valuations for Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, mergers & acquisitions, buy/sell agreements, employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), litigation support, and estate and gift tax filings.

Chris has over 25 years’ experience in personal and corporate finance. His services include business valuations, succession planning, mergers & acquisitions, and other consulting services for small and middle-market business owners and management. He has extensive experience with appraising manufacturing and distribution companies, as well as professional service firms include engineering, architectural, IT, and financial services.

Chris received his BA from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Chris holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA-BV) designation with the American Society of Appraisers.

Nick Fifer - Associate M&E Appraiser

Nick Fifer provides machinery and equipment appraisals for our lending clients. He inspects facilities, works closely with borrowers, and develops quality valuations. Nick’s valuation experience began while working as an auctioneer; his exposure to asset liquidations and his understanding of levels of trade help him deliver meaningful results to our clients.

Nick has inspected hundreds of facilities in a wide variety of industries, including medical, food processing, metalworking, woodworking, coating, transportation, construction, and agriculture, among many others.

Nick earned his formal education with a BS from Purdue University. He supports the Evans Scholars Foundation and enjoys volunteering with local sports and community organizations.

Doug Hirschfeld – Business Analyst

Doug Hirschfeld is a business analyst on the business valuation team at Capitale Analytics. He analyses company financial statements, builds valuation models, and helps generate reports summarizing methodologies, assumptions, and conclusions. He is also responsible for developing the business valuation team’s marketing and social media strategy.

Doug has worked on engagements involving a wide variety of industries including retail, manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, transportation, and professional services.

Doug graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University – Bloomington with a double major in Finance and Supply Chain Management. His coursework in accounting, financial statement analysis, and corporate financial strategy provide a strong foundational exposure to providing quality business appraisals. 

Prior to joining Capitale Analytics, Doug worked for an international logistics company managing operations for a Fortune 50 client’s distribution center.
